What type of connector will be used for power?

The excavation hardware will need to have one of these. It is a Neutrik PowerCon® connector.
Pin-out:
- Positive DC voltage will be provide on the Live (L) terminal
- Negative DC voltage will be provide on the Ground (PE) terminal
- The third Neutral (N) will remain unconnected. Future possibilities for data feedback are being considered.

Power
We need to know what type of wires you are using for the tethered power ASAP.
12awg "Deans Wet Noodle" will be have very differently than 4awg welding cable. This will affect how much force from wire sag is applied to our robot and we have been waiting for this critical information.
The power cable will be
The power cable will be Stinger HPM 8 Gauge Premium Power Cable, two cables. One will be the gray color and one will be the clear color. It was chosen for its blend of light weight, flexibility, and low resistance. There will be plenty of length available to feed out to the excavators as needed.
sleeve around cables
There will be a black sleeve around the two cables used to supply power, so the actual color of the cables will not be easily visible.
