The robots are "activated" by you turning on the 24v power. Is there any way of turning on the markers?
We are concerned about setting everything up, getting off the field, and then having an unknown wait time before our attempt will precisely begin. With the media and judges evaluating things, we assume there may be some waiting period which could be a minute, or 15 if the alliance is making final field adjustments.
The power to the markers needs to be initiated before the competition attempt begins. We don't anticipate any large delays in between the 5 minute setup time and the start of the excavation attempt, since the sandbox and collector will need to be completely ready before starting the 5 minute setup period.
If there was an unexpected delay for some reason, the team leader can request that a new set of batteries be installed in the markers before beginning the excavation attempt.
